Sunday, April 26 – Saturday, May 2, 2020:

  • Set up traffic controls for utility work on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE from Lebaum Street to the entrance of St. Elizabeth.

  • Trench excavation for encased electrical conduits at various locations on northbound Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

  • Installed PVC conduits (duct bank) at various locations in the northbound lanes (left travel lanes) of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

  • Placed temporary asphalt for each manhole roadway surface on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

  • Placed concrete at duct bank.

  • Placed graded aggregate base and PCC base on northbound lanes of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

  • Installed sewer manholes in the northbound lane of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

Sunday, April 19 – Saturday, April 25, 2020:

  • Saw cutting in preparation for trench excavation for electrical conduit on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE from Lebaum Street SE to Milwaukee Place SE.

  • Excavated trenches for encased electrical conduits at various locations in the northbound travel lane of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

  • Trench backfilling and surface restoration in the northbound lane of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

  • Installed PVC conduits (duct bank) at various locations in the northbound left travel lanes along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.

  • Installed manholes along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE from Randle Street SE to Lebaum Street SE.

Sunday, April 12 – Saturday, April 18, 2020:

  • Excavation of test pits on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE (left lane).

  • Installation of tree protection on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE (Lebaum Street SE to Milwaukee Place SE on the northbound and southbound sides).

  • Saw cutting in preparation for trench excavation for electrical conduit installations on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE (Lebaum Street SE to Milwaukee Place SE).

Sunday, April 5 – Saturday, April 11, 2020:

  • Excavation of test pits at various locations on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE (4th Street SE to Raleigh Street SE)

  • Marking out of utilities.

  • Installation of erosion and sedimentation controls at catch basins on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE and Raleigh Street SE.

  • Removal of tree branches damaged during heavy rain and wind from Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE and Raleigh Street SE.
